Delhiwear, the brand by its namesake wants to serve the city and the local philosophy of it. However, it has always offered more than that, in terms of value and functionality.
Started by people who are not from the clothing industry or the product they sell but knew one thing or another about the narrative they choose to work on or the story they were telling.
Delhiwear which started as a small initiative to promote the gap between influenced culture & unique/native story which India was ready to offer. we took a direction where we were truly able to contribute to the whole community where at the beginning it was all about representing another concept instead of taking your take on it.
From the initial product VARDI till the later Dukaan Trench. We have been focused on working as a product company which just happens to serve a broad community of Streetwear, Workwear, business casual and by the nature of it Occasional wear.
This approach of simplicity or hacking every situation with just a simple trick of styling represented the city which we are the namesake of.

The term (especially in the northern part of the country) means a shop or any place you sell stuff from. However, it was about emotion and the right trigger which this term gives to the people as most of our audience can relate to this being from either from their house. / family background or just with an affiliation.

OPERATIONS / MARKETING / STORYTELLING
Harkrishan Singh Alag
Harkrishan aka banda started his career as a start-up kid from FnB, selling SaaS-based products in various restaurants/QSR to a skilled digital marketing manager. From the very beginning, he has been a sneaker enthusiast and an avid branding guy.
The creation of VARDI and the whole story is something out his personal life where he incorporated personal love for Jordans and Kurtas in his daily life. Fast-forward to other collections/ product type many things in the brand are out his experiences and the value as a team, delhiwear wanted to add to the system.
Being a marketer and a sales guy he has been managing the brand and also been taking care of the operations. other than that he has been closely involved in the making of dukaan's products such as Nehru vest, VARDI, Lightweight/Heavyweight & Number plate series.
FINANCE & ACCOUNTS
A Stock market analyst, born and raised in Delhi and partially in New York. Taran has been a key member of operations with Harkrishan and has also planned many strategic moves in delhiwear. The B2B management comes under him.
Other than that he's been actively involved in maintaining the money (MAYA) of the business and making important decisions for dukaan (business) financially.
A sneaker enthusiast like other members of the team who bought together with the whole ethos, created in a span of the last two years.
Anshay has been a consultant and the co-creator of the concept initially in 2016. After delhiwear, he has been responsible for the quality control in operations and involved at the start of our T-shirt line. MOH MAYA has been co-created by Harkrishan and him to go forward as the philosophy of the brand. His personal brand which is a namesake thenaag.com is also another venture of his where you'll see an extension of his concepts and ideas coming to life.
Coming from a similar mindset(as Harkrishan), he has contributed to dukaan from VARDI to dukaan drops.
Pre delhiwear - Anshay & Harkrishan Initiated the email invite system for hand-painted t-shirts by him, where both got the confidence to birth the concept of delhiwear as a whole. An extension to that can be found on his channels and through our old samples.
Design & Technical consultation
Suhail has been involved with Harkrishan in the design process since the Lightweight collection first came out in early 2018. Other than running his clothing brand Garuda_ss Suhail is a fashion/design consultant for few businesses and brands. Contribution to delhiwear are as follows: Lightweight pants & shorts, Business Casual for Dukaan ( Pants & TRENCH)
Design and Assistance
Guneev has been a part of the team since 2019 and one of the first employees to be working for the team. He has been strategically involved in the creation of our first offline display at LetsBunk Poshtel in Hauz Khas Village.
From the start of business casual. Guneev conceptualised the modular SIDE BAG with Harkrishan and made the construction and application possible. As an active consultant to the firm he also remained involved in other operations until his tenure ended.
Fashion Design & Styling
Lehar has contributed to the construction of CANVAS Jacket, most famously the hypebeast concept which was co-created in 2019 with Guneev. She has been actively involved in enhancing the look of business casual and vardi.

Graphic Design & creative content
Hergun & Harkrishan co-created the iconic identities of giphys and also worked on many Dukaan Drops ideas which will be showcased in the future or currently as you're reading this.
A trained fashion & textile designer, Hergun focuses on her multidisciplinary talents to make an amalgamated presentation whenever required.
Contributed to the extension of number plates and "metro lines" design for us.
Art Direction & Content consultation
Kartik Mahesh who's a Multi-disciplinary artist, along with his skateboarding skills has contributed in various forms to dukaan. He has directed and made the first-ever short video concept which we wanted to show in business casual through Very Indian Skateboarding. Other than that he's been an active consultant in the art direction, such as the identity of dukaan which is in local/urban architecture of New Delhi city, and is more than monuments and heritage notions.

CC Dukaan Drops
Abhilash is one of our first collaborative artists, through his strong yet subtle jabs on the daily struggles of "MAYA" We have mutually come together to drop a couple of concepts through his "rakshasa" hand-drawn illustrations. "Fighting your inner demon" and MOH MAYA gave birth to a mutual understanding of challenges and accomplishments.
Along with Siddharth Kumar, Aman has been the lead photographer for us. from VARDI to Lightweight. As we progressed, he has contributed to delhiwear as a team member by maintaining our vision and creating new directions for dukaan.

Photography & Art Directions
More than photography, Siddharth has been actively involved in planning locations and doing production work for us before any campaign.
Along with Aman, we have created some of the iconic identities of delhiwear which are instilled into dukaan.

An affiliate of delhiwear: Jasmeet, who's born and raised in Delhi but now resides in TO, Canada, has helped us whenever we needed him and consulted in Toronto's campaign which was directed by Anshay and involved a project where we wanted to show more than Indian subculture.
